Armstrong Industrial - North of 114 Avenue NW and west of 170 Street NW

Bylaw 11885 (November 2, 1998)

To establish a District for industrial businesses which carry out their operations such that no nuisance factor is created or apparent outside an enclosed building and such that the District is compatible with any adjacent District.

This DC5 District shall apply to a portion of NE 9-53-25-W4M, a portion of Lot 11U, Block 1, Plan 772 1396 and a portion of Lot 16PUL, Plan 822 2835, Armstrong Industrial, as shown on Schedule "A" appended to the Bylaw adopting this DC5 District.

b. Alcohol Sales, Minor
c. Auctioneering Establishments, provided that all goods and equipment to be auctioned are stored and displayed within an enclosed building
d. Automotive and Equipment Repair Shops
e. Automotive and Minor Recreational Vehicle Sales/Rentals
f. Broadcasting and Motion Picture Studios
g. Business Support Services
h. Commercial Schools
i. Convenience Retail Stores
j. Convenience Vehicle Rentals
k. Cremation and Interment Services
l. Drive-in Food Services
m. Equipment Rentals, provided that all equipment and goods for rent are contained within an enclosed building
n. Flea Markets
o. Fleet Services
p. Funeral Services
q. Gas Bars
r. General Industrial Uses
s. Greenhouses and Plant Nurseries
t. Health Services
u. Indoor Participant Recreation Services
v. Limited Contractor Services
w. Minor Amusement Establishments
x. Minor and Major Eating and Drinking Establishments
y. Minor and Major Service Stations
z. Minor Veterinary Services

a. All development in this District shall comply with the requirements of Sections 410.4 and 410.5 of the Land Use Bylaw.
b. Signs shall be allowed in this District as provided for in Schedule 79.H and in accordance with the general provisions of Section 79.1 and 79.9 inclusive of the Land Use Bylaw.
