Beaumaris - 15625 Castle Downs Road NW
Bylaw 11738 (May 11, 1998)
To establish a Site Specific Control District for Medium Density Multiple Family Housing, with the opportunity for ancillary Personal Service Shops and Health Services.
This DC5 District shall apply to Lot 77, Block 52, Plan 792 0293, Beaumaris, as shown on Schedule "A" appended to the Bylaw adopting this DC5 District.

a. | The site shall be developed substantially in accordance with the site plan attached as Appendix I to this District. |
b. | The staging of development on the site shall be substantially in accordance with the site plan attached as Appendix I to this District. |
c. | The maximum number of dwelling units shall not exceed 130. |
d. | The maximum height of Building A shall not exceed 14 m nor 3 ½ stories except that the maximum height of that portion of the building abutting the semi-detached residential development shall be 10 m or 2 ½ stories. The height of that portion of the building abutting semi-detached residential development may exceed 10 m or 2 ½ stories to a height of 14 m or 3 ½ stories, provided that the portion of the building above 10 m or 2½ stories is set back or stepped back from the facade such that in the opinion of the Development Officer, adjacent semi-detached residential development will not be adversely impacted by excessive building massing or sun/shadow effects. |
e. | The maximum height of Building B shall not exceed 10 m nor 2 ½ stories. |
f. | The maximum height from grade to the highest point of the roof peak of the clock tower shall not exceed 22.5m. |
g. | Except as specified under clauses 4(a) to 4(f) inclusive, development in this District shall comply with the General Development Regulations of Sections 50 to 79 of the Land Use Bylaw and Sections 170.4 and 170.5 of the Land Use Bylaw. |
